Lithium – vs AGM has more life cycles, more usable energy (deeper cycles), faster charge times, reduced weight and volume. 2.5x price but will last longer so is considered better value for money. Requires BMS.
Lithium SuperPacks – Has integrated BMS and safety switch. Not designed for serial connections.
AGM – Suitable for high current discharge applications.
AGM Super Cycle – Result of newer battery developments to improve AGM and allow the occasional 100% discharge.
GEL – Better deep cycle durability than AGM.
Peak Power Pack – used in applications where high currents occur for short time.
BMS – Battery Management System.
SolidSwitch – Use low power digital signal to switch DC loads.
